Whether you are an experienced sailor or have never been on a boat, we can provide you with a safe and enjoyable time sailing on the lake. Corporate Sailing: Set Sail Chicago is Chicago’s premier corporate sailing charter company offering: team building courses, team recognition events and client entertainment. Take your team or clients on a spirited day or evening of fun and learning on Lake Michigan!

Recreational Sailing: Get out and experience Chicago from a luxury sailing yacht on Lake Michigan! Charter one of our yachts or take a sailing lesson from one of our licensed Coast Guard captains.

Staff:  Each of our yachts is overseen by a captain who is licensed by the United States Coast Guard to operate charted vessels.  Our staff combines business experience and a passion for sailing to teach inexperienced sailors how to handle a boat properly, while learning leadership, teamwork and communication skills to enhance your business success.

Yachts:  All of the Set Sail Chicago yachts are over 35 feet in length and can hold up to 6 passengers and 2 crew members. Our fleet includes multiple yachts with flexibility to accommodate groups of all sizes.  Safety is of our top priority.  All of the yachts at Set Sail Chicago feature state of the art features and safety gear. Our yachts undergo safety inspections each spring to ensure your safety. Some of the features on our boats include:

Location:  Our yachts and crew are based at DuSable Harbor right in the heart of downtown Chicago.  Our boats are located close to public transportation (e.g. train lines and bus lines) and near parking for private transportation.  For group bookings, we can arrange transportation.
